Horrible customer service

Had a very bad experience ordering cake from this shop for my niece’s 3 year old birthday. Her only request for the cake is that it is a pink cake. Ordered the Skinny Dip Pig shaped cake online because the picture shows a pink colored cake. The description also says food coloring is pink and blue. When I went to pick up the cake, it is yellow in color, not at all like the picture on the website. I refused to pick up the cake as it is not at all what I ordered. The shop lady called me back

Had a very bad experience ordering cake from this shop for my niece’s 3 year old birthday. Her only request for the cake is that it is a pink cake. Ordered the Skinny Dip Pig shaped cake online because the picture shows a pink colored cake. The description also says food coloring is pink and blue. When I went to pick up the cake, it is yellow in color, not at all like the picture on the website. I refused to pick up the cake as it is not at all what I ordered. The shop lady called me back and said the picture online is for reference only and refused to give me back refund. Not only did she not apologize, she actually kept telling me they did nothing wrong and I just had to accept that the cake may not be pink. I am amazed by how unfriendly they are to customers like me who made the effort to preorder a $500 cake, went to Causeway Bay to pick it up, only to find out that the cake was not what was shown on the website, and then had to rush to find another cake for my niece’s birthday. They could have retained my goodwill if they say “sorry our picture is not the same, and for causing such inconvenience for you and we will refund you and update our website picture to avoid such misunderstanding in the future.” Unfortunately, their arrogance will only hurt their business. I decided to forgo the $500 and let people know about this unpleasant experience. Good news is I managed to get a pink cake somewhere else quickly and I didn’t have to disappoint my niece!
