Truly a terrible place. Just a bad idea. So the business analysis would have gone something like... 'overpriced drinks in Western?', yep, there's an untapped sector, I know, let's open a faux English joint but having exhausted our set-up costs on the exhaustive market research, let's just go with our 'idea' of what is an English pub. 'overpriced drinks in Western?', yep, there's an untapped sector, I know, let's open a faux English joint but having exhausted our set-up costs on the exhaustive market research, let's just go with our 'idea' of what is an English pub. So, high prices. Well, yes, that's fairly British. Oh, let's slap a 15% service charge on the cost of pulling a pint... I mean SERIOUSLY?! If you want to pay $60 for a pint go to Central, go to LKF, go wherever, because nowhere else would dare to hit you wit a service charge for pulling a pint. This was the no-return dealbreaker. Frankly the place is a shocker. Vinyl seats, bright lights, Celine Dion bawling her tonsils out on max volume, and two guys loitering bouncer-style by the bar. Presumably to turn the average patron upside down to shake out that absurd 15%. Didn't try the food... the signs are just all wrong. This surely is a front for some gangster ops, because it's all wrong for a pub.
