In my last article I mentioned " the old district is dying...but replaced by good new stuffs...". This is another good example. This small ramen restaurant is cozy. The variety is limited. However this gives you a home like feeling & totally match with this old district. Of course the most important ingredient in this noodle is that piece of butter.
The base of the soup is made of soya bean paste & less oily than pork soup. That's why even there is a big piece of butter, the soup remained clear. The butter definitely enriched the noodle & make you feel so warm in the cold winter. The pork is very soft & relatively thick (when compared with those famous ramen restaurant) .The curry ramen is also a good job. Not extremely spicy but enough to keep your stomach warm for hours. The curry soup is slightly watery when compared with other restaurant.
The side dishes are not "side" at all.
They use the pork same as the one in the noodles!The dumplings definitely homemade and full of juicy pork inside.
The soft drink is complementary! So nice!
Although you may think the taste of their food is not strong & not exciting, but I definitely can tell you they have no MSG at tall. Especially the dumplings, although it's not as tasty as other restaurants, but the real pork taste is priceless. This makes you feel more homey!
题外话/补充资料：
The waitress use Cantonese to welcome & farewell customers, different from other Japanese restaurants who use the "HK style Japanese language". However she communicated with the chief with fluent Japanese dialog!!! Ah Ah...
