After attending the super-boring whole-day training, I hurried out from office to meet him up, and we headed straight to the Prince Building at Central for my birthday celebration.

Ascending to the penthouse of the commercial building is a restaurant with an exclusive elevator. Yet the restaurant which is renowned for fine-dining doesn't seem as formal as expected. The place is physically divided into a few zones, which includes a bar near the entrance, then a cozy lounge, and then finally the tables for dining alongside a spacious terrace plus superb harbor-view and dazzling lights from the skyscraper.


We ordered foie gras, house salad and pumpkin soup as starters. They separated the 3 dishes into 2 portions and served in 2 plates. I guess the restaurant's environment and deco had somewhat lifted my expectation on the food quality and thus the taste of the starter was only average to me. Next we had mussels in cream sauce. The mussels were fresh and matched quite well with the sauce.

Finally it came the main courses. I had roast pigeon while he had lamb rack. They were both tasty but I like the lamb more as it was tender and evenly-cooked, and the french mustard had made a perfect complement with the mutton taste.

And finally we had a blueberry cheesecake as a mini birthday cake, but I forgot its taste already...


Overall speaking, Sevva is worth-trying, no matter for fine-dining or simply for a drink at the terrace.
