It’s tea time and there was a queue outside the shop! I came at around 1530 and queued for approximately 30minutes. However, the waiter told me that the afternoon tea sets were sold out! So I could only order their cakes, scones and other pastries.I wanted to order the pineapple mousse and lemon tarts, but they were sold out too. So I ordered the yuzu cheesecake, pear hazelnut mousse and opera cake and early grey chocolate. Yuzu cheesecake— the cheesecake was light and airy. The white chocolate
I wanted to order the pineapple mousse and lemon tarts, but they were sold out too. So I ordered the yuzu cheesecake, pear hazelnut mousse and opera cake and early grey chocolate.
Yuzu cheesecake— the cheesecake was light and airy. The white chocolate coating was added with yuzu and it’s refreshing.
Pear hazelnut mousse— couldn’t really taste the pear flavour but the mousse was rich and indulgent with the hazelnut.
Opera cake— perfect balance of the coffee and chocolate filling and icing. The almond sponge cake was soft and moist.
Earl grey chocolate— I never had earl grey plus chocolate before! Surprisingly I found that this combination was pretty matched!
Even though the place was not too spacious, it’s still an enjoyable time to have tea.
