Over the past few years the quality of a certain popular sushi chain has decreased a lot. Between scandals and a decrease in quality and choices, it seems that the sushi scene in Hong Kong would be left with only low end quality at a cheap price, or overpriced sushis at a regular quality. Sushiro is a great alternative that manages to fit in the quality gap left open by some of the other major chains. The choice and quality there are absolutely great for the price they ask, and the ingredients are fresh.
Being a chain, there will always be some inconsistency in the quality; and it is not uncommon to find poorly cut slices or loose rice. However, I have often seen similar quality for twice this price.
Overall, this chain comes at the right time and I am already a big fan. Let's see how it fares over time!
