Today, me and my friend went to have hotpot for lunch. There are lots of hot-potting restaurants in Tsim Sha Tsui but most of them are all you can eat and you have to finish your meal within a certain time. Me and my friend were looking for some place that give us enough time to chill and doesn't need to rush off the food. This restaurant we went today provide one hotpot person, it's not all you can eat but the amount of food in the hotpot are more than enough for a normal girl's tummy. The staf

Today, me and my friend went to have hotpot for lunch. There are lots of hot-potting restaurants in Tsim Sha Tsui but most of them are all you can eat and you have to finish your meal within a certain time. Me and my friend were looking for some place that give us enough time to chill and doesn't need to rush off the food. This restaurant we went today provide one hotpot person, it's not all you can eat but the amount of food in the hotpot are more than enough for a normal girl's tummy.

The staff will give you the menu where you just need circle the things that you want; it is very similar to the Japanese ramen place where you just tick your order.

My friend got the creamy milk soup with beef. The milk soup was very creamy and we also found it quite cheesy, we don't know if there was any but we could taste the cheese.🙆 Anyway, the beef was quite special, it was not like the normal one that we get from the market or from other restaurants. From the appearance of the beef, we could tell that they were very fresh. We didn't cook them for long, we picked them out when the colour changed. The texture was so tender and juicy!😁 Then we found out that the restaurant was famous for beef, no wonder their beef was in such high quality.

I got my favourite soup which was the satay with kurobuta slices. The satay was very concentrated and tasty. The Kurobuta slices (Berkshire pork) were also very delicious, the texture was tender and soft.

Let's talk about what else was in the hotpot, basically we didn't need to order anything extra because the pot contains most of the side items such as luncheon meat, ice tofu, Taiwanese mushroom meatball, squid ball and baby Tientsin cabbage.

The luncheon meat was soft and tasted very good after absorbing the soup.

The ice tofu was one of my favourite side items, I like the multi layers texture very much; the layers were rough but this texture was very special.

Taiwanese mushroom meatball was very yummy and I really like the strong mushroom flavour as well.

Squid ball was very unique because the ball was infused with squid ink. The ball was back with bits of squid inside. I like this squid ball more than the white one that we normally eat because the flavour was stronger.

We were a bit greedy that we ordered the deep fried fish skin as well. After dipping into the soup for around 10 seconds, we took it out. The fish skin was crispy and super crunchy. If you like it soft, you can leave it in the pot for a bit longer, it taste even better after absorbing all the soup.

To finish off, we still have the udon and bean thread. The udon was stretchy and matched well with the milky soup. The bean thread absorbed the satay soup which made it super yummy. The bean thread was stretchy and chewy.
