I personally love Vietnamese food. La Taste offers a good selection of Vietnamese and Thai dishes which are suitable to the taste of HK people, meaning that the flavours are not too strong, unlike those made according to the authentic recipes. I love their Soft Shell Crab roll with Mango. The soft, slippery mango really contrasts well with the crunchy, savoury soft shell crab, a great combination of both taste and texture. The fish sauce is rather savoury but I don't mind it at all! I also order

I had the coconut drink which was served as a whole coconut. It was really refreshing and I managed to scrape some of the white flesh from the insides of the coconut shell, which was delicious and my favourite part of having the drink.
The price was reasonable and I had a lovely meal. Would totally recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner!
