Good for beer and a snack - but maybe not dinner!

Uncle Padak is a nice little korean fried chicken restaurant in the middle of Sai Ying Pun. The restaurant was full when we arrived at 9pm on a Saturday but it quickly emptied out and we got a seat at the bar next to the window. Service was friendly and fast. The chicken was... well... a great snack! We ordered the first item on the menu (forget the name.) It's boneless deep-fried chicken with a rather sweet and slightly spicy sauce with spring onions on top. It's definitely nice. And large (eno

The chicken was... well... a great snack! We ordered the first item on the menu (forget the name.) It's boneless deep-fried chicken with a rather sweet and slightly spicy sauce with spring onions on top. It's definitely nice. And large (enough for 4 people.) But I woudln't make a meal out of it because you'll feel pretty greasy by the end if you do! We washed that down with two Asahi's (48 hkd each I believe) and also a side plate of spicy rice cakes - again good but again rather an unbalanced meal!

On the whole - a fun little outlet perhaps for a beer and a snack before going somewhere else for dinner.
