4 gals a la sex and the city style met up for dinner on a Tuesday night. The decor was fab, the sea view was a nice backdrop and they served up plain water (though they did give my friend a look at first, but afterwards they refilled the glasses without any problems). And they must have filled up our breadbasket 3 times because we kept chatting and tucking into the bread without realising it, and we forgot to order so the waiter kindly came over to take our orders without being pushy.I was stu

I was stuffed from xmas festivities, so i only had a crab cake which was delicious and flavourful, except the crust was slightly oily. My friends had the ham which was good, but there was hardly any cheese on it, as described in the menu. The lobster salad was good, nice portion too. The mains were rabbit loin, again, relatively large portion with 5 big rolls, the chicken risotto was creamy without being too filling, but sadly the sole was disappointing, dry, tasteless and meagre in portion.
A bottle of Riesling to go with the above, and the service is good, provided you speak English the entire way through and chat up the Portugeuese manager. The ferry rumble was a minor issue, in fact it was rather entertaining.
