The portions here are truly massive! I actually laughed out loud when our brunch boards arrived. The staff here must be ripped - or at least they will be after working here - since those brunch boards are seriously heavy and they have to carry them around all day! The portions are based on the number of people at your table, so we had two brunch boards with portions for 4 people. While the brunch boards we ordered were pretty basic and you could argue that none of the food items were particularly expensive, everything was tasty enough and it's fun being able to pick and choose from so many different breads, meats, and sauces. The dessert was delicious and a lovely way to end the meal.
The only slight criticism I have is for their table/ booking arrangement. My friend had made a booking for us way in advance, but when we arrived we were given probably one of the worst tables in the restaurant - far away from the windows, near the entrance, against a black curtain. Luckily they were able to move us to a corner window seat in the end.
We had a wonderful time at Carbon and ended up staying there for 5 hours! I would definitely recommend this place for chilling, catching up, and celebrations - but make sure you request and double confirm that you can get a nice table!
