I & my colleagues always want to try something new. This place previously occupied by a video game center for very long time. Recently changed to a cafe. The entrance of this cafe is not eye-catching at all. Even worse, the entrance is located at steep slope of Lok Ku Road rather than Queen's road. I think it is difficult to attract customer unless you have something very special. There is no reception at the entrance and we have to pass though a corridor before we get to the tables, so even we entered the restaurant, the waiters didn't noticed.
It was lunch time but only 1 table customer occupied the cafe. I can smell the cigarette from the air-con, likely the remaining smell from the video game center. The waiter was polite and looks professional,
I ordered the Mushroom Risotto. The surface was covered with fine cheese, risotto was not "al dente" enough but creamy. I think Hong Kong people accept this style more than real "al dente" texture. But they added green peas to it.... The home made burger is good, according to my colleague. It is slightly expensive ($98) but seems more reasonable than Gourmet Burger Union (few blocks away), at lease we have a proper seat but same price. We also ordered OX tail rice, chili Con Carne with rice, pan roasted salmon, pizza, and BLT sandwich. All my colleagues seems satisfied.
