Lucky to have found a small cafe that doesn't have a lot of customers. Convenient to find a seat as soon as I arrive and enjoy beautifully decoarated good quality cakes of French-tasy, which I think is probably one of the best for their price range(28-32HKD).Didn't taste other dishes, but they are also relatively cheaper than other middle-to-high-class bakeries. Didn't taste other dishes, but they are also relatively cheaper than other middle-to-high-class bakeries. Available: Salads, pastas, coffees. They have a bakery producing cute-looking unique breads, with shapes and colors of Mandarin (Special edition for CNY) and sakura!
The price of the cakes are UNBEATABLE. I never saw cakes at this quality only cost 28-32HKD. They are sprinkled with 'gold', well-decorated above average.
The BEST cake so far for me is Mango Mousse Cake. Although the macarons are a little bit strangely salty, the mousse is rich in strands of mango, the taste is authentic and sweetness just right. Lovely butter taste lingering when the 'crispy' biscuit crust at the bottom of the mousse is melting in my mouth.
It's hard to describe the biscuit crust in English. In Chinese we call this texture 鬆化/酥化, which refers to fresh biscuits when they are crispy resulting from small airy spaces among their structure that produce airiness, and has taste of butter/oil.
Chocolate cake with green tea and choco cotton cake layers inside is so far my second favorite! Great combination!
Will try all of their cakes in the future.
