Can't they do something slightly more interesting? All these years it's the same old menu...came here for a late lunch with bf, ordered a seared Ahi tuna salad and a grilled chicken sandwich. The waiter had to clarify with us about 5 times, "chicken salad? club sandwich? salmon salad? we don't have tuna sandwich... salmon sandwich you want?" and he behaved as if it was our fault that we couldn't order food properly... but at least he was smart enough to offer to have the dressing and cheese on t

The waiter had to clarify with us about 5 times, "chicken salad? club sandwich? salmon salad? we don't have tuna sandwich... salmon sandwich you want?" and he behaved as if it was our fault that we couldn't order food properly... but at least he was smart enough to offer to have the dressing and cheese on the side after i asked if the mayo in the sandwich could be put on the side (dieting mah...)
the breadbasket had the usual muffins and bread rolls this time!!! oh my god, what a change from the usual dry baguette slices...
lemon tea was unlimited refill, but only if you flag down an unsuspecting waiter who happened to walk past you...
the salad came, the tuna slices were nicely seared, but it seemed like they are not going to give you halved baby potatos anymore, just a few small diced pieces instead... also they're a bit stingy with the green beans... and if my memory hasn't failed me yet, didn't the salad used to have olives too??
the sandwich came... but it was HALF portion of a CLUB sandwich... god, how hard is it to place an order for a REGULAR CHICKEN SANDWICH!? we didn't make a fuss since we weren't hungry anyway, but we asked them to check if the bill was adjusted according. They didn't appear too bothered by it, they should have at least admitted their mistake mah!!
Guess what they charged us on the bill?! yup, a full club sandwich... of course we asked them to correct it....
call me a see lai, but if it's $72 for a full portion, isn't it a bit of a rip off to charge $49 for a half portion?!
