Was so excited to hear that Passion by Gerard Dubois has finally arrived in Central. I think they opened about a week ago.  I actually tried the place out twice. My first experience took place on Thursday 5th Feb.  The location was very easy to find.  If you have been to Passion in Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui you will find this new location slightly smaller and the choices of desserts, bread and basically general food selection is not so extensive as it's predecessors.  Nevertheless they surely m

Was so excited to hear that Passion by Gerard Dubois has finally arrived in Central. I think they opened about a week ago.  I actually tried the place out twice. 

My first experience took place on Thursday 5th Feb.  The location was very easy to find.  If you have been to Passion in Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui you will find this new location slightly smaller and the choices of desserts, bread and basically general food selection is not so extensive as it's predecessors.  Nevertheless they surely made up with the great service I received from Eva. She was very helpful assisting me with my choices of salad.  

There was a lovely selection of salads to choose from (14 different salad choices I think).  It comes in 2 sizes small box will cost you $43 (not bad considering the place is in Central) and the large is $61.  I chose Creamy Chicken, Winter Waldorf and beetroot. The taste was great but it's what I expect from Passion.

After my light dinner I wanted to buy a cake to take home.  Eva recommended the pistachio butter cake which I must say it tasted fantastic. The cake was very moist and had a generous amount of pistachio. I left that night feeling very happy and satisfied.

I went again after work on 6th Feb and straight away Eva recognised me.  This time I had the large salad, breakfast tea and the Passion Fruit Mont Blanc (well it is Friday).  Again no disappointment at all, the salad tasted fresh. I had the Creamy Chicken again, Morrocan Couscous, Royal potatoes and Roasted vegs. The Passion Fruit Mont Blanc was heaven, normally I am not too keen on chestnut desserts but considering the guy who served me recommended this so I went along. Wow!!! I think I am now converted, the best chestnut base dessert I had so far the passion fruit taste was just right, not too sweet or over powering.

Well done to Gerard Dubois he did it again (great team, great food) and this time in Central! my work location how convenient.
