As my wife had dinner appointment with her friends tonight, thus my colleague decided to have dinner with me, and to catch up with our daily life in the mean time. As we did not want to travel elsewhere, we decided to have dinner at Kwun Tong. The Base was located at Hewlett Centre, around 5 minutes walk from Kwun Tong MTR. They do have dinner set and ala carte menu during dinner. They offered snacks, salad, burger, pasta and drinks etc.
Popping yogurt berries - It was shaped like a popsicle, with strawberry and berries decorating the drink. It was sweet and sour, with strong berries taste. It was not much yogurt though.
Grilled romaine in tom yum dressing - The lettuce was huge and long in size, and was crunchy and juicy. The tom yum taste was strong though, but not spicy enough. The dressing helped to enhance the flavour of the salad.
The Base more Wagyu cheese burger - This was one of their signature dishes as i saw almost every table ordering this. The burger was served in a huge size, with generous serving of waffle fries at the side. Waffle fries was huge in size and was fried till soft and crispy. There were meat sauce on top of the patty and bacon as well. The beef was tender and juicy and complimented nicely with the meat sauce.
