The apple pie crust has an incredibly crispy and flaky crust that is filled with a nicely diced apple and custard filling which is not overly sweet. The custard is smooth with a creamy texture that is not overly heavy. The apples were fragrant and cut to a reasonable size, though there wasn’t much of it. I loved that each apple pie is served to you freshly baked, with the filling being nice and warm and the custard literally melts in your mouth.
I think the custard and apples work well together but the taste isn’t very strong, it’s definitely on the mild side and a lighter version of a traditional apple pie.
