Quite encouraged on arrival as steered to the quite pleasant bar inside to have a drink as table not available for 20mins.Myself and friend ordered one premium house red wine( very nice infact) and one premium house white.Nothing wrong with the latter but the barman ridiculously clueless.Served me the small decanter of chiled white wine than gave me a newly cleaned HOT wine glass to put it in.Whe I asked him if could have a chilled glass he merely went to the open shelf where there were clearly
Got a table after 20 mins or so,made our oder of 2 rib eye steaks straight away and asked for MEDIUM .I told my friend not to be surprised if he found it a little bloody when arrives as this is usual in HK restaurants for medium.What a surprise when they came they were very WELL DONE and pretty much inedible.......oh and neither of us had been given a fork.
They took them away with an apology but for goodness sake this is a specialist STEAK HOUSE isnt it??????How can that happen??
We had to wait a further 35 mins for the new steaks,no offer complimentary drink or anything at all from the Management.Total wait time from ordering when seated was nearly one hour...grrrrrr !
The steak was properly cooked this time ,but sorry to say substandard overall,with half of it just overly fatty meat and grizzle
This is the first and last visit for me. Extremely dissapointed .They must have very easily satisfied clientele to be so bad but still busy.......perplexing .....on the other hand lot of tables just sharing pizza or pasta,.............now I know why.
