Went for dinner with a friend tonight... according to food review from here. Seems yummy and quite looking forward to it. As I like egg!! So we decided to order the All day breakfast. I ordered Scramble egg, smoke salmon, baked beans and mushroom. The waitress came to serve us doesn't speak English (I think)... but since the menu is all english... of course we order our choice in English, right? The waitress got problem catching what our order is. So we need to slow down... to "turtle spe
And of course... from my photo.... it is actually 炒蛋 instead of scramble egg.... it doesn't have that fluffy and smooth texture at all. In fact it is hard... not even as good as the 炒蛋 in normal HK style Cafe... Mushroom ... I only got 6 small dices of it... same with my friends one. And they call it one ingredient... The toast is softened... when it arrived... smoke salmon is ok... baked beans of course is standard stuff.
Coffee or tea comes with the set.... so we added $15 each to order a Cappuccino and a Mocha... The coffee isn't even luke warm... can drank it in 1 swallow... the waitress handed us 2 sticks of sugar... my one the paper bag felt wet... so I go to the counter and get a new one... when I came back I found my cappuccino foam went flat... within that 1 min time...
We both felt strange that... although the menu is all English... but their waitress don't understand English... and in fact they serve HK style food there...
