The three of us shared some rice, dim sum and bao along with a couple of bottles of soy milk for $9 each.

This is the braised tripe with turnip in satay sauce ($18). This was pretty good. I've never ordered this from them and now I know why my coworker requested this one. A bit spicy but not too much. The sauce was rich and savory. The turnip just soaked up all the sauce. The tripe was tender as well.

Pork and shrimp dumplings ($18) was a bit on the greasy side but tasted ok. The meat was firm and there was a bit of shrimp along with the pork meat.

Steamed rice with spare ribs and chicken feet was $26 a la carte but if you order it with a dim sum, you get  package deal with a box oolong tea for $44. The rice was not over cooked. The spare ribs were tender and well seasoned. The chicken feet were a bit on the salty side but was so soft, it literally fell apart.

Fried glutinous rice with preserved meat ($22) as really good. Very savory but not too oily. There was a generous amount of preserved meat found throughout along with crunchy peanuts.

Chicken and mushroom bun ($7.50) was a nice big steamed bun.

The bun was fluffy and there was a decent amount of filling. Though not much chicken meat.

Panfried assorted vegetable bun ($5.50) was from the new pan fried bun series. The bun was pan seared on top.

There was a lot of random lettuce but mostly mushrooms were found in it.  It was ok but I think it was a bit more greasy as it was pan fried. I think I'd stick to the steamed.

Tong Kee Bao Dim serves pretty good Chinese dim sum food for a cheap price all in a quick take away fashion. Service is fast and you can grab your meal and on your way without taking too much time. The place is clean as well. The meal set is a good deal as well as you get rice, dim sum and a drink all for $44.
