This restaurant is a bit off the beaten path in Mongkok, nearby the Mongkok East Station.

Like Tim Ho Wan, only Pu-erh tea or warm water is offered. The menu is relatively short but covers most of what appears to be standard dim sum, but each with a twist.

Portions are relatively small, so we ended up ordering quite a few items for 2.

Bamboo Steamed Rice with Chicken - Basically the same steamed rice as other places, except steamed in a bamboo steamer rather than stainless steel.

Har-gow - Very large shrimp dumplings, 2 to an order. They added in bamboo shoots which gave the har gow a crunchy texture.

Pandan Ma la gou - Standard ma la gou but green colored. No real pandan taste, although you could smell it slightly.

Special Hamburger with wasabi mayonaise - I'm not entirely sure what was in these, but it was decently made and pretty tasty.

Cheung fun with pork wrapped in fried beancurd - I originally thought this was the usual Chinese crueller wrapped in cheung fun until I bit into it. Then I took a look at the menu and realised that there was meat in the middle.

There's a decent amount of MSG in the dishes, which left me thirsty after the meal.

Overall, no real misses, but nothing outstanding either. If you're tired of standard dim sum, then give this a try.
