Did I order the wrong drink?

After I finished watching Spotlight at AMC Pacific Place, I was waiting for my brother to pick me up, so I decided to go to The Petit Cafe for my coffee fix.I saw that they had really pretty floral cups for their hot drinks, but the drizzling rain that day made me want a cold drink, so I order an iced cafe latte with soy milk.They took a while to make my drink, and I saw that they filled the cup 4/5 of the way with espresso with very little room for the milk, and the end result was a very dark b

I saw that they had really pretty floral cups for their hot drinks, but the drizzling rain that day made me want a cold drink, so I order an iced cafe latte with soy milk.

They took a while to make my drink, and I saw that they filled the cup 4/5 of the way with espresso with very little room for the milk, and the end result was a very dark brown iced cafe latte!

 Iced Cafe Latte with soy milk: This latte was very bitter, and I could hardly taste the soy milk in it.  When I ordered my drink, the cashier asked if I wanted it sweetened and I said yes, but I couldn't detect any sugar or syrup in it!  All I could taste was the bitter espresso, and it was quite harsh.  I don't even mind the bitterness of black coffee, but this latte's bitterness was really something else.

There are quite a few options for coffee at Pacific Place, so I doubt I'll come back to The Petit Cafe for coffee!
