ShakeShake fries is probably very famous in Hong Kong’s McDonalds, but have you ever tried seafood in the same way of preparation? This restaurant got it all! Located just 2 mins from Prince Edward MTR station, you would find this newly opened eatery. And if I am correct, this should be one of the first places in Hong Kong to deliver such unique cooking style that has been a trend in other countries for quite a while. The restaurant manager and staff welcomed us with a big smile on their faces, and asked if we need recommendations from the menu. We agreed since this is quite new in Hong Kong, so of course, any suggestions would be helpful! Within just a min, the manager guided us through their 2-page menu, in which the most attractive food was the seafood — the main reason for me and my friend to come here in the first place! They also got some Taiwanese mixed food as well. You basically choose whatever you want, then choose the sauce, the staff will help you mix it (ie shake it) right in front of you just for your ig story! 😆 the sauces available were: lime, spicy tomato, black garlic and Sichuan.
After discussing with my friend, we ordered half a lobster, clams, mussels oyster and abalone with beet root noodles (I was actually quite amazed on their super healthy choice on the menu!) on the side. The sauce we ordered was lime and we were actually very excited to try out because they even provide apron for us to eat just like burger and lobster in the U.K. 😍When the food arrive, it smells amazing and the taste did NOT disappoint I promise you. The lime sauce was what made the whole meal so delicious and enjoyable I believe! And you know what’s best? Our bill was just less than HK$300 for 2 and the manager kept coming to our table and ask if everything was alright.
