Came for dinner on Friday night. The restaurant is situated in the newly refurbished "Toy House" building . As the new TST Apple Store occupies the retail space on the ground floor, the restaurants upstairs can look forward to decent traffic.Zenpachi is a delight , atypical for Hong Kong, the interior is very spacious therefore allowing a lot of privacy. All our appetisers were tasty: Soft Shell Crab, Tempura, and Sesame Chicken Wings. My daughter is not a Shabu Shabu fan therefore she had an Inaniwa Udon, which had a nicely tangy texture. We ordered 2 types of broths, Japan flavour & the simply excellent KimChi flavour. All the ingredients for the Shabu Shabu were really fresh & of top quality . I enjoyed especially the Wagyu beef.
2 Adults & 2 youngsters spent $1800 which makes it slightly pricey given the locale. At the same time, however, Zenpachi delivers on its space, food & taste.
