Found a new Japanese restaurant in the Macau Yat Yuen Centre building near SOGO. I went there with my 5 friends. The restaurant looks clean in the entrance and both inside. The music was nice. It was some kind of a Japanese 90’s music like Fukuyama Masaharu. There were seasonal Japanese drawings (autumn leaf) on the wall and displays of bottles of sake. It made me feel like I was in Japan! We ordered 6 dishes in total. First, we ordered assorted Tempura. There were different kinds of Tempura: mushroom, shrimp, pumpkin, sweet potato… and more! Then, we ordered Japanese Wagu Steak on rock salt. It was soooo delicious! The Wagu Steak staying on the big piece of rock salt absorbs the tasty salt flavour. Next, my friend ordered assorted chopped sashimi on sushi rice. Tuna, salmon, salmon roe, squid and other sashimi were on the sushi rice. The yuzu sauce matches with the sashimi perfectly. Also, we ordered avocado and tuna salad. And baked cheese on pork cutlet. Just looking at the pork cutlet, it seems like there are only cheese on top. However after one bite I realize that there were lots of cheeses inside too! After then, we ordered grilled Foir Gras on rice. The rich taste of Foir Gras melts when it enters my mouth. Overall, I think the meal was great. And I am planning to go again.
