My friend and I went to a Japanese restaurant called"Betsutenjin"(博多拉麵別天神) located in Shop 3A, G/F, 277 Gloucester Road, Causeway Bay(銅鑼灣告士打道277號地下3A號舖).The shop name is engraved in a wood panel with eye catching Japanese style door curtains underneath.The restaurant is similar to other Japanese ramen restaurants which are not very spacious.All customers are arranged to sit on the bar which face to the chef so that they can see how the chef preparing food for them.This restaurant only specialize

This soup base is richer and more intense flavours than the classic ones.

The restaurant just does what they did the best and ensure the quantity control.

If customers want to have some snacks, they can order the sets which are either one of these ramen and one snack(6 pcs of pan fried pork dumplings) or crayfish & crab roes salad.

The salad is superrrrrrr delicious, bright yet flavourful.

The crayfish meat is very bouncy, springy while the crab roes add crunchiness to the salad.

Customers can also order extra ingredient, ramen .

The corns are superrrrrrr sweetttttttt!!!

Black fungus/agaric/Jew's ear(木耳) +HKD $10

It adds the crunchiness and bites which enriches the textures of the ramen.

BBQ Pork/ Char Siu (叉燒) +HKD $15

Not very high fat content yet the fat is extremely even distribute .No greasy yet very flavourful and meaty.

The pork is sooooooo tasty which makes me want more


Pan fried dumplings (煎餃) HKD $35/ 6pcs

The flavours are there. It will be better if the pasta sheets can pan fried a little bit longer so that the sheets will be crispier.

The chef is a Japanese who came from Okayama(有來至岡山的日本大廚).

He is very polite and very serious about his cooking,good work ethic👍🏻👍🏻

But the local staff is not very polite nor helpful , quite lousy.
