It has been a while since i last dined out with my parents, thus i took this opportunity to dine with them since we were free recently. They suggested to go to 皇府 as the environment was nicer since they specialized in wedding dinner. Since we stayed in Kowloon, we went to their outlet in Tsim Sha Tsui. Like any chinese restaurants, their menu was very extensive and comprehensive. They also offered special offer for selected dishes during dinner. Their price was considered reasonable given the location and ambience.

Roasted duck - We ordered their special offer which came with just the skin and few meat. Steamed paper skin was provided to us to wrap the roasted duck with it. Sauce and cucumber was provided as well. Roasted duck skin was very crispy and flavourful, and the sauce helped to bring out the flavour.

Roasted meat - Mustard sauce was provided to enhance the flavour. Roasted meat was crispy, but the meat was slightly tough as there was not much fat in the meat.

Sweet and sour prawn ball - The size of the prawn ball was huge, like the size of golf ball. Prawn was juicy and chewy, and it was flavourful as it has absorbed the sweet and sour sauce.

Fried rice with truffle and fried rice - The fried rice had very strong truffle taste as the chef was very generous on it. Cucumbers were added to make it crunchy as well. Texture of the rice was abit hard though.

Osmanthus jelly - It was sweet and soft, with osmanthus flavour strong.
