Went to Yum Cha at Causeway Bay for dinner on a Saturday evening. We arrived at 6pm and the restaurant was quite vacant as it’s way earlier than the typical dinner time for most Hong Kong people. We ordered Happy Farmville for dim sum and Stir-Fried Rice Noodles w/ Shrimp & Egg for rice and noodles. Happy Farmville is the signature dish that we’ve been wanting to try and since it’s only available during dinner at this branch, we decided to come for dinner instead of lunch. Since it’s dinner time

Since it’s dinner time, we weren’t keen on having tea. However at this restaurant water is charged just as much as tea ($16 pax), so we each ordered a drink instead.

The Stir-Fried Rice Noodles with Shrimp and Egg was way better than expected. Its pan-style container is pretty cool as well!
Important points to keep in mind include the $16 pax charge for tea / water and an additional 10% service charge.
It was an overall alright dining experience. It wasn’t cheap and there were both ups and downs. The highlight was definitely the cute and photo-worthy dim sum. The downside is they charge you for literally everything, including water.
