Since we were shopping around at Argyle Centre, we suggested to buy some snack food there as this mall was famous for their light bites. We decided to try on 壹加一手抓餅專門店 as we seldom ate scallion pancake. The decor of the stall looked similar to those stall at Taiwan. 山楂甘草茶 - It was freshly made, clear and refreshing. It was sweet and sour in taste, perfect during this hot weather.
For our sweet based pancake, we chose red bean with chocolate sauce. Pancake was thin, made till soft and crispy. The staff was generous with the serving of red bean, which was sweet and smooth, while the chocolate sauce made it even sweeter.
We chose original flavour for the pancake, which was crispy. It was pan grilled with egg in it. Pork neck was chewy and juicy, with the spice powder and spicy sauce making it flavourful and spicy.
For another pancake, we chose purple potato flavour, which was crispy and sweet. Pork floss was chewy, and when added with honey mustard sauce and yogurt onion sauce, it was sweet and creamy.
雞叉骨 - It was deep fried till golden brown, with the skin crispy and the meat chewy and juicy.
