Visited the Good Harvest restaurant two times this weekend, first for dinner on Saturday, then once again at tea time on Sunday afternoon. Visit #1 - Ordered "Beef and Enoki" roll with "five grains" rice. The beef and enoki rolls were a a bit harder to chew than these kinds of rolls usually are, and the sauce was rather bland. The five grain rice on the other hand was really tasty, not too wet and not too dry, and it was apparent while eating it, that it consisted of different types of rice (sometimes, such combination simply taste like normal rice). The dish was also served with tofu and soy sauce, and this was a surprisingly nice combination, and it blended particularly well together with the rice.
- Ordered the "Pork Chop with lime". Although I wasn't too impressed by Good Harvest on my first visit, I decided to return on the next day to give it another try, as I really liked the ambience of the restaurant. The pork chop was a much better choice than the beef and enoki mushroom. The pork chop was served in a really nice lime sauce, which had a very mild and subtle taste, which blended well together with the pork chop, without overpowering it. The pork chop was delicious, very scrumptious, thick and juicy. One of the best pork chops I've had for this price. And the serving was very generous, with lots of pork chop meat. About twice as much as is normally served at this kind of restaurant, so good value for the money. Aside from that, the dish was served with the same kind of rice and tofu as I had the previous day.
