Since Buddy J has been feeling a bit down lately, I decided to sweeten up her life a little by surprising her with some treats. I had only intended for 3 people including myself to eat them, but somehow, they were shared amongst 7 people. This was my third visit so I won't waste time commenting on the environment and hygiene. The staff was helpful. However, her floor was dirty when I first went in and she accused me of stepping into something, which made it dirty. It was all settled though when she realized that I didn't leave any dirty marks as I walked around the shop.
Taste & Value:
I've had the purple yam cake and taro cake before, so this time I tried something new. I decided to get 3 pieces of individual cakes.
1. My first choice was their signature Green Tea Cake ($3X)This was one cool looking cake with pipes all over. Although the appearance was very unique, I thought the green tea meringue pipes were way too sweet. The cream between the sponge cake layers made the cake creamy, but still a little dry overall. It was soso.
2. Lemon Tart ($3X)This was okay I thought. It was too sour for me, since if I'm having dessert, I want it to be more sweet than sour, which is why lemon tarts have never been my thing, so maybe I am biased. However, this was everyone's favourite.
3. Dark Chocolate Tart ($3X)This was my favourite of them 3. It was very chocolaty and the dark chocolate made it not too sweet. The crust too was nice. It was a very good tasting tart. I would get it again!
Final Verdict:There are still many cakes for me to try. Also their pricing is slightly lower than some of the other cake shops, which is way more reasonable.

They even sell bread now.
