I am meeting one of my ex-colleagues for dinner tonight and he suggested to have sashimi don rice. 嵐橋丼飯專門店 was located at Blenheim Ave, opposite K11. Since they specialized in sashimi don, their menu offered a wide range of selection and they served grilled items as well. Shortly after we have ordered, they served us a bowl of soup. Three kind of shellfish don - The chef was very generous with the serving of the sashimi, covering almost the whole bowl. It was presented nicely, in a colourful way. It consisted of Japanese geoduck, surf clam, scallop, minced tuna, salmon roe and crab claw. Rice was chewy and sticky. Shellfish was chewy and fresh as well. Minced tuna was soft, going well with the rice. Salmon roe was flavourful and crab claw was juicy.
Japanese chicken butt - It was meaty and smooth, and was grilled till flavourful.
