Finally had the chance to try CouCou hotpot place at K11 after several walk in attempts. That was because this time we walked in at 5:30pm 😂😂😂 It was a nice decorated venue. The Taiwanese mince pork served with fragrant rice that was offered at the sauce and spices counter was very good and authentic. There was also a free flow of duck blood and tofu which brought me back to the traditional "Taipei" style hotpot nights! As in the tradition of the Taiwanese Hotpots, we basically helped ourselves with everything from the cutleries inside the drawers at the table to the wet and dry napkins, even plates and bowls. 😁😁😁 Unfortunately, the service was as cold just like the blasting air conditioning. 🥶🥶🥶 The servers gave the ambience that reminded me of the old black and white horror movies where ghosts would float by in the mists. 😂😂😂They just floated by whenever we needed attention. The pond with the dry ice fog was appropriate to add 👻👻👻 to the scary effect. 3 out of 5 if we would rate this place.
