I came across this coffee shot on my way to Passions. The outside was simple and square. I looked in and there were people dressed in lab coats and several wooden tables. I decided to give it a try. I walked in and there was one counter where you order. Simple. Then if you want it to eat in you take your receipt and proceed to the upper level where the barista is. I ordered the Ice Cappucinno ($55) - a grande Starbucks size, two of their sweets, and the signature Egg Sandwich.
First off, the iced cappuccino was just a normal coffee beverage, nothing special. I think they're drinks are better Hot but I ordered a cold one.
Nothing special.
The Egg sandwich($58). Three thick slice of egg in 3 halves sandwich. They're pre packaged so when I ordered it they just took it out from their stock. The box is nice , simple , brown with black outline. The texture of the egg is smooth and creamy. Imagine you're eating a Egg sushi... kinda like that but creamier and smoother. The only thing i find different than any egg sandwich is the slight wasabi taste. It's not spicy, it just adds a kick to it when you bite into it. I would've preferred it to be hot, other than that it it a Sandwich you can try once and get it over with.
Next up are the pastries. I had the Baked custard.($18) It is small piece , like a lego brick. Imagine eating Creme brûlée but in a square form and surrounded by a thick pastry. Kind of like that.
The matcha brownie($25) was bigger in size. I quite like the matcha brownie. It is sweet of course but it complements well with the coffee beverage.
Overall, it's a coffee shop with a nice ambiance. The food and drink is just Alright. It's a nice place to have a coffee with friend and chat.
