Planned to have claypot rice with LSPP since last Autumn, finally we got the chance.LSPP highly recommended this restaurant and reminded better to be there before 6pm coz it is very famous, we arrived around 6.10pm, waited for approx 20mins. Planned to have claypot rice with LSPP since last Autumn, finally we got the chance.
LSPP highly recommended this restaurant and reminded better to be there before 6pm coz it is very famous, we arrived around 6.10pm, waited for approx 20mins. When I sat down, saw many people finished their food on the table, asked LSPP why they still occupying the table, LSPP replied they all waiting for the claypot rice, finally I realised this place is such well-known.
The waiter advised us we needed to wait for awhile as they had many orders already, so we ordered the Shrimps Rice Rolls, Boiled Choi-Sum and bottles of beer as "appretizer". Our main would be Eel & Beef Claypot Rice.
Apppretizer: Shrimps rice rolls, shrimps were big, but the rice rolls were too soft and a bit sticky, which attached to my chopsticks, quite embarrassing. Choi-sum was fresh.
Main course: The waiter brought the covered claypot to us, LSPP opened the hot lid (food fragrant around the area) and I poured the soy sauce on the rice. LSPP stirred the rice (more fragrant towards us) and gave me a bowl, it is hot! First had a bite on the eel, it' soft; then the beef, tender; the rice, soft and crunchy mixed together.
After the meal, understand why they are so famous and is worth to wait!
