I was hoping to try their Christmas Desserts Vanilla Apple Tree Chausson and the Red Nose Reindeer but the Apple Tree Chausson ran out so I ordered their Mochi Peanut Chausson instead.The pastry of the Mochi Peanut Chausson was light and the peanut flavor was great. The decorations of the Religieuse tasted quite good. I mention this because I previously tried the Religieuse of another shop and despite the dessert itself was lovely, the decorations tasted weird. So glad that Dominique here nailed it.
The pastry was light and the fillings were a lovely contrast of strawberry and chocolate. The ganache gave it a nice gleam without making it too sweet. Looking forward to try their other Christmas desserts.
