Came in to this cute little restaurant on a Saturday night on a whim, we were pleasantly surprised!! Good and cheap Japanese food! We ordered: grilled mackerel, grilled squid, udon in tomato broth with deep fried pork cutlet, sukiyaki, and grilled chicken wings on skewersMy favourite was definitely the squid and the udon the grilled squid came sizzling on an iron plate and was covered in a delicious sticky sweet and slightly spicy sauce, yum The tomato broth for the udon was soooo rich and toma

The tomato broth for the udon was soooo rich and tomatoey, it was almost like creamy tomato soup

I love tomato so that definitely won my heart

The deep fried pork chop cutlet that came with it was huuuge! So good with the mayo

Sukiyaki came in a cute little hotpot, we weren’t too hungry so we shared one between us (if you’re hungry you might be able to finish one by yourself lol). I didn’t have much of the grilled mackerel but my friend really liked it. The chicken wing skewers were great, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside

The waitress also recommended us to get the garlic butter fried chicken wings (new item) so we did, was indeed very garlicky and buttery! The bill came to almost $400 which we thought wasn’t bad at all (we also ordered drinks). If you’re in Tokwawan be sure to give this a try
