The Square is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Central area, it is always one of the most popular business meeting spots. Luckily I managed to take a few snaps while having a meeting. Prawn springroll - The pastry was thin and super crispy, while the prawn was so big that it was so noticeable.
Spare Rib - the spare ribs was deep fried until the perfect tenderness, while still remained dry instead of oily.
Bean curd sheet roll - it was a nice finish to our snack platter because these bean curd sheet rolls were quite plain in flavour while still delivered a flavourful soya bean taste from inside out.
Corn and egg thick soup
The soup was filled with corn kernels and shredded lean pork. I used to hate these kind of thickened Chinese soup but this one was not too thick until the disgusting stage. It was thickened to just the right consistency, especially with the generous amount of ingredients, I found it really a delicate soup to enjoy.
Soya sauce fried noodle Lastly, we had a bowl of noodle to finish off the meal. The fried noodle was surprisingly dry in texture and less salty than I expected. I have tried their fried rice before and it was a little bit way too salty.
I really enjoyed my dinner. It was light but still enough to keep me away from hungry. I would always pick this place for another business occasion.
