After the blossoming of coffee shops in Shum Shui Po district, another trend of coffee bar is emerging — coffee shop by day, wine bar by night. Cafe Hachiko was a beloved matcha ice cream and drink shop before, and it has undergone an upgrade to be a grant coffee bar in Yau Ma Tei.Coming for Cafe Hachiko’s signature green tea drinks, I ordered this Uji Mochi Latte to try, and it was absolutely amazing! Coming for Cafe Hachiko’s signature green tea drinks, I ordered this Uji Mochi Latte to try, and it was absolutely amazing! Unlike ordinary green tea latte, this matcha latte was made from Uji matcha with JAS certification. Probably because of this, the matcha didn’t taste bitter at all, it had a really enjoyable and smoothing green tea flavour. Love it! And the mochi was superb! There were a few of it, and I love those chewy doughy mochi balls.
