By extortion I was treated to a coffee which evolved into a dinner. The Norwegian salmon was fatty and smooth to the palate though slightly salty; an interesting match with dill in sour cream but the thin toast was timber-hard. The gazpacho was of cherry and tomato with herbs, it had a refreshing cool taste with a tinge of zest. The gazpacho was of cherry and tomato with herbs, it had a refreshing cool taste with a tinge of zest. The lamb chop was a bit tough at medium and the flavour wasn't too strong, though the mashed potatoes were above average. The dessert topped the meal and the mandarin miel (honey) cake with figs in the jelly top layer was laudable - not too sweet, the sponge cake was fresh and the combination was heavenly. The coffee was a genuine brew from ground beans.
The service was excellent and warm as usual, and even the "victim" paid willingly at $590 per capita.
