Me and my friends visited hanbing (Times Square causewaybay location) and we were seated immediately. I had a pleasant experience the last time I was here and thought the shaved ice was pretty good so I decided to bring my friends here.As we were seated, we noticed that the table had small ants crawling all over it. We swept one off the table and more came crawling. So then we told the waitress and she offered another table for us. When we first sat down, we didn't notice much. Within 10 seconds
As we were seated, we noticed that the table had small ants crawling all over it. We swept one off the table and more came crawling. So then we told the waitress and she offered another table for us. When we first sat down, we didn't notice much. Within 10 seconds, one of my friends exclaimed that there was a white dot crawling around her serving bowl. This was when we all went to check our bowls. 3/5 of us had tiny microscopic white bugs crawling around the bowl. Then we saw the same tiny black ants on the table. We were so disgusted we left immediately. This place has some cleanliness issues and can't keep the bugs away. I don't feel safe eating at this location anymore...wouldn't recommend it...unless if you enjoy having bugs on your food. Might be a better idea to try the other locations if you cannot live without hanbing.
