Teishoku is the main of the Japanese set, served with rice and miso soup. Here at $48 ($53 with 10% service charge), you could enjoy an average Teishoku with complimentary rice, miso soup, cabbages, and barley tea. No wonder why there is always a long queue. Among the eight choices, I had the pork cordon bleu. Have always found the recipe challenging. Have to make pork parcel by placing a slice of cheese in between and pressing the edges together properly. Then have to coat the parcel in breadcrumbs, flour, and eggs. Here is of average quality. At this price, I would rate it good.In one sentence, Teishoku 8 is where you enjoy a full Japanese set meal of average quality at limited budget.
