It took forever for someone to take our order and everyone seemed so miserable, which affected my mood as well. Although service was slow at first, once our order was taken, the food came quickly.
Taste & Value:
I wanted a peanut mochi with purple glutinous rice flour, but they said they were out of peanuts and the purple rice flour, so then I asked for a regular durian mochi and they were also out. Leaving us no choice but to have a regular Mango mochi ($8). The dough was thick and the mango was sour; luckily we shared one. Then, I decided to try the Mango wrapped in black & white rice roll ($21). It was a bit disappointing too because I was hoping that the mango would be sweet, but it was sour. The mango in my friend`s Mango Pomelo Sago ($16) also had the same problem, but other than that, it was okay she said. The items were fresh and not too expensive, but since the food was disappointing, I felt like I had wasted my money.
This was my third visit and it seems like every time I come, this place gets a little worse. I wonder if I dare go again.
