Went for a birthday celebration for dad at this classy elegant cafe because neither one of my parents had visited this place before. The set dinner menu was priced more reasonably than expected. The cream broccoli soup was smooth though the escargot appetizer was only so-so. The panfried liver, or foie gras as some would have it, was less greasy with the sauce based on orange juice. The Wagyu beef was juicy and tender, the mashed potato was buttery as usual. The risotto cake was a bit like rice

The cream broccoli soup was smooth though the escargot appetizer was only so-so. The panfried liver, or foie gras as some would have it, was less greasy with the sauce based on orange juice. The Wagyu beef was juicy and tender, the mashed potato was buttery as usual. The risotto cake was a bit like rice cracker in texture and paired with crabmeat it was fair. The blackberry tea cake was mousse like and not too sweet; the dome-shaped chocolate cappuccino cake was a mite too heavy and the chocolate masked the coffee flavor. The staff tried their best and it was nonetheless a happy meal at $400 per head.
