After a fairly disappointing lunch, this bubble tea definitely picked me up ALOT.Not only does the bubble tea shop has a cute and instagrammable exterior, it also serves THE BEST BUBBLE TEA in town. Not only does the bubble tea shop has a cute and instagrammable exterior, it also serves THE BEST BUBBLE TEA in town. I've had a fair share of bubble tea and I must say in confidence that this is the BEST in town. Not only is it healthy but also really yummy. I especially love the selections of MYLK tea they had which was comprised of different type of plant-based milk (almond, cashew, etc). People can indulge in this yumminess guilt free. Their bubbles and different type of added toppings were also "healthier" than the normal chains.
When I ordered, I didn't read the menu carefully and was hesitant in ordering any mylk based drink so I opted for the pure tea selection.
I ordered the jasmine pearl without sugar and without ice (yes, I'm weird like that). The jasmine pearl is comprised of phoenix pearl jasmine tea, nata de coco, turmeric tapioca, monkfruit sugar, and vanilla rice foam. The bubble tea was really light and really refreshing. I really want to give a shout out to the vanilla rice foam! I'm the type that never orders the milk foam奶蓋 on top! I almost opted out of the vanilla rice foam until I saw that it was a RICE FOAM! So i had to try it and it didn't disappoint at all, actually I fell in love with it. I'm definitely re-visiting.
One note is that, it is on a pricey side...$38 for a regular bubble tea compared to the other chains but I believe there's 2 main reason for it. Firstly it's probably because of the prime location the store is located (literally the heart of lyndhurst terrace) and second reason is the ingredients they're using which are generally "healthier" than your regular chains.
Nevertheless, it is the best bubble tea I've had in Hong Kong and I can't wait to revisit!
