The restaurant has a beautiful view of the Victoria harbour. But unfortunately, this is possibly the only positive thing I can say about this Shanghainese venue.We ordered some traditional dishes: Tofu skin duck, red cooked pork, tofu noodle and edamame beans. We ordered some traditional dishes: Tofu skin duck, red cooked pork, tofu noodle and edamame beans. And also a less traditional, but more Hong Kong-style “Shanghai fried thick noodles”. Almost everything was overpriced, greasy, and execution was poor.
Pig hair was left on the skin of the pork. Grease was oozing out of the dishes. I ordered a beer and the glass was dirty.
The dessert, a traditional steamed rice with sweet fruits (eight treasure rice) managed to be entirely covered in grease.
This place can not possibly be Michelin rated as per the previous reviews suggest? Can it???? poor service, but the waitress was apologetic, so I blame it on the management and training.
