As a fan of burger and fries, I’ve been craving the new fast food shop Shake Shack since the start of May. Finally I think it was time to pay a visit without waiting for long! 😆Today I met up with 2 friends and we decided to come here enjoy brunch with a sea view at IFC. Despite the typhoon was gone, the weather was still warm but there was a lovely breeze to keep us cool. We came straight after the 11am opening and it was easy to find a seat outdoors. There’s only around 3-4 tables indoors.Like

We came straight after the 11am opening and it was easy to find a seat outdoors. There’s only around 3-4 tables indoors.
Like any other fast food restaurants, you have to order and pay at the cashier. You will then get a beeping item and will be alerted when to get your meal. Cutlery, sauces (the good old pumping sauces with the plastic containers) and napkins can be found just near the doors.
All of us ordered the classics: single cheeseburgers and cheese fries to share. The milkshake seemed very big in size and I was worried not to finish it, so I ordered their homemade lemonade instead, very refreshing indeed! 🍔🍟🥤
The burgers and fries were served warm, I’d imagine they would be much hotter as they are made to order. The ingredients were fresh and the beef patties were very juicy 🍔 I loved their fries so much as it’s not the ordinary ones, instead they’re the crinkled one. I think it gives the extra crunch in the fries 🍟
Though the price is higher than normal fast food shops, I would say the great view at IFC and fresh ingredients makes the value seem reasonable. I’d like to try their milkshake next time! They have a Hong Kong edition for it - milk tea flavour!! 😋
