So my uncle had urged me to try this crispy apple crumble pie for a while now. And finally, I made the effort to get out of the darkside and go to Wanchai for afternoon tea in Lee Tung Street. Anyways, getting back to the food... according to the pastry cheif, this crispy apple crumble pie is shipped directly from Japan and freshly baked at the store everyday. It is better eaten freshly out of the oven or while its still warm. I have tried it and its delicious, crispy exterior and the apple crumble inside is not too sweet and just soft enough that it gives you a satisfying sensation upon blending of the flavours inside your mouth.
