Didn't have any idea what to have for lunch, was just looking for something simple with no queue. Walked by on Jaffe Road, didn't realize there's a newly opened veggie restaurant, we checked out the menu, the lunch set seemed ok and the price sounded reasonable, so we hopped in.The place was quite spacious, and I guess it was still new so not a lot of people when we arrived around 12:15.There were a few options for lunch menu, basically $45 for two types of dishes, or $48 for three. There were a few options for lunch menu, basically $45 for two types of dishes, or $48 for three. I got myself a $45 meal + $3 for pan fried lettuce.
The meal also came with soup of the day (red + green carrots with corns). No oil, not too salty, felt so clean!
The meal set was of good portion. The dishes of the day were XO sauce panfried green beans with veggie meat, and tofu with mushrooms and preserved veggie. The veggie meat was very interesting, it tasted a lot like real meat - even the "fatty" area looked like and the texture of it was resembled that of real meat. We asked the server and she said these were made of wheat gluten..interesting. The dishes were not too salty nor oily. I liked the portion of the rice which wasn't too huge, so didn't have to waste a thing
