唱聖詩我們有首「Amazing Grace」(奇異恩典),容許我食食字,在九龍區覓食也有「Amusing Grace」,就是餐廳「Amuse」。這天我們一行七人,沒有奇異,卻如 amuse 一字的意思,是笑聲此起彼落的開心一晚呢。頭盤先來有小弟挑的「無花果生果雜菜沙律配橄欖油醋汁 (Mixed Leaves Salad with Fresh Fig & Fruit Salad in Olive Oil Vinegar Dressing)」可能細細個睇得「麗的」套電視劇「無花果」多,我一向非常喜歡吃新鮮的無花果,愛它清甜及軟潤的感覺,而且新鮮的無花果是甚易壞,所以也不是時常都吃得到。這次伴上醒胃的黑醋汁及新鮮蔬菜,是既簡單又健康的開始。「煙三文魚 (Smoked Salmon)」三文魚厚切,入口鹹味比煙燻味重,一小口一塊,質感甚油潤,用來襯丹寧度高一點的法國紅酒我覺得就甚搭配。另外兩款頭盤是「巴馬火腿伴蜜瓜 (Parma Ham with Melon)」及「匈牙利豬肉腸 (Grilled Hungary Pork Sausage)」,前清甜後鹹香,我更將後者配熱辣的麵包一起吃,配些芥辣就

這天四女拼三男,女生都嚷著要吃點品,吃過甜點才歡喜嘛。「朱古力心太軟配雲呢拿雪糕 (Warm Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Ice-cream)」、「意大利芝士餅 (Tiramisu)」及「焗蘋果金寶配雲呢拿雪糕 (Apple Crumble served with Vanilla Ice-cream) 」:
幸好當晚有幸品嚐了一支帶菠蘿果香的德國冰酒「神之水滴」,一小杯作為飯後甜酒,對我來說剛剛好。
